Redefining Drug Discovery and Development in Immuno-Inflammation through Precision Targeting

Key Discovery Programmes

Portfolio of high-value pre-clinical small molecule candidates

Our platforms and expertise has developed a balanced, high-value internal portfolio of immuno-inflammation programmes. We have two commercially partnered programs with deals of a combined value of >£900m, and a divested selective Orexin-1 antagonist.

Our technologies - A highly valuable and differentiated platform

We have a highly valuable and differentiated approach to Drug Discovery through our enhanced candidate molecule design and patient stratification capabilities, generating small molecule drug candidates focused on immuno-inflammation.

Conformetrix

Molecule design

Conformetrix enables rational, accelerated 4D structural drug design using experimental data rather than theoretical data. The information provided by Conformetrix provides C4XD’s medicinal chemists with new and unprecedented insights into the behaviour and physical properties of drug molecules to inform design choices. This has the potential to provide more accurate molecule design that is better suited for the intended therapeutic target.

PatientSeek – the right drug for the right person

Developing predictive genetic signatures for immuno-inflammatory diseases

Not all treatments work effectively on all people. Patient response to the same treatment can vary markedly due to millions of small variations in their genetic make-up resulting in significant disparity in treatment effectiveness. PatientSeek, C4XD’s analytical platform identifies the genetic signatures that drive disease characteristics and uses novel algorithms to examine an individual patient’s genetic make-up to match their likely response to specific treatments. C4XD is using PatientSeek to develop predictive genetic signatures for immuno-inflammatory diseases that can be used to inform and accelerate clinical trials through better patient selection and provide guidance to healthcare professionals on the best therapy for an individual patient
